Charles Fleury – Investigator

Charlie joined Edmonds Marshall McMahon in October 2018. He is a retired police officer, having served 30-years in the Metropolitan Police Service. During this period Charlie worked as a Detective within the Criminal Investigation Department and has wealth of experience and knowledge in investigating all types of crime.

After retiring from the police service, Charlie joined the Serious Fraud Office (“SFO”) as a senior investigator. Charlie served five years at the SFO, investigating some of the SFO’s highest profile cases. These included the conviction of defendants in multi-million-pound fraud against the Sports Funding Agency, and the highest ever recorded fine in a Deferred Prosecution Agreement in a Bribery and Corruption Investigation.

At Edmonds Marshall McMahon, Charlie undertakes work in the following areas:

  • Reviewing, analysis and management of large volumes of data;
  • Identifying investigatory lines of enquiries and completing investigation plans;
  • Conducting interviews of both witnesses and suspects; and
  • Working with overseas law enforcements.

Charlie has also assisted on other UK based investigations which include, a conspiracy to send malicious communication and a large scale fraud inquiry.
