Ekaterina Pakerova – Paralegal

Ekaterina joined Edmonds Marshall McMahon immediately after graduating from Lancaster University with an LLB (Hons) European Legal Studies, during which she spent an additional year studying in Germany, where she gained an invaluable insight into the Continental Criminal Legal system.

During her studies, she demonstrated a keen interest in Human Rights and the Criminal Justice System, representing the University at international forums in Prague and Kuala Lumpur.

Ekaterina was involved in numerous projects aimed at improving access to justice for members of society from disadvantaged backgrounds, including volunteering for the local community on a weekly basis, as well as for the Citizen Advice Bureau.

At Edmonds Marshall McMahon, Ekaterina is responsible for assisting fee earners with tasks on their cases, including legal research and liaising with courts and clients. She maintains over 50 running intellectual property cases.

Ekaterina is a native Bulgarian speaker and a fluent German speaker. She is a very enthusiastic, friendly and dedicated member of the team, who is an aspiring solicitor.
