Mai joined Edmonds Marshall McMahon in 2018 as an Australian Foreign Qualified Junior Associate.
At Edmonds Marshall McMahon, Mai works on both criminal and civil matters, including in the following areas:
- Asset Tracing
- Complex Banking & Financial Record Analysis
- Norwich Pharmacal Applications
Mai spent two years working with the Queensland Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions where she assisted in cases and trials of all crimes, including murders, trafficking and fraud. Mai then moved to the Queensland Ombudsman’s Office before becoming Associate to His Honour Judge Reid of the Queensland District Court.
Throughout her studies and career Mai has undertaken volunteer work with pro bono legal centres in areas of criminal, civil, administrative and international law.
Mai was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in November of 2017 after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws, with honours, and a Bachelor of Arts (with a major in International Relations). She completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the Australian National University in 2017.
