Kate McMahon speaks at IBA Conference in Paris

Kate is the Senior Vice Chair of the Asset Recovery Subcommittee and was invited to speak at the 16th Annual IBA Anti-Corruption Conference on the subject of “How to recover assets but avoid confronting the corrupt politician directly”. She was speaking alongside other prominent experts in this field from across the globe.

The IBA, established in 1947, is the world’s leading international organisation of legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies. It influences the development of international law reform and shapes the future of the legal profession throughout the world.

It has a membership of more than 80,000 individual lawyers and more than 190 bar associations and law societies spanning over 170 countries.
