Mike Jackson - Head of Investigations

Mike joined Edmonds Marshall McMahon in February 2018. Prior to joining, Mike started his career as a Business Analyst with Ernst & Young before going on to spend 15 years working at the Serious Fraud Office (SFO). Whilst at the SFO, Mike worked as an investigator at every level and experienced all aspects of international criminal investigations and prosecutions. This culminated in five years as a lead investigator on some of the SFO’s highest profile cases. These included the UK’s first ever Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA), as well as the UK’s largest DPA, with both relating to corruption investigations.

At Edmonds Marshall McMahon, Mike undertakes work in all industry sectors and has worked on the following case types:

· Complex investment frauds

· Bribery & corruption

· Employee theft

· Charity fraud

Mike works on EMM’s most complex cases, providing detailed analytical and strategic input and giving evidence at Court. Mike’s cases require the analysis and management of large volumes of complex data and information, with a focus on finding the best way forward on a case and dealing with witnesses and suspects alike.

Mike is a qualified certified fraud examiner.
