Rhys Evans was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2024 and joined Edmonds Marshall McMahon as an Associate in October 2024.
Prior to joining Edmonds Marshall McMahon, Rhys worked at Rahman Ravelli, where he honed his expertise in cross-border commercial disputes and regulatory matters. During his training, he gained valuable insight into white-collar crime, sanctions, and various civil fraud issues, earning commendations for his thorough approach and strategic thinking.
Rhys’ legal practice is centred on complex commercial litigation, with a focus on civil fraud cases that often involve multiple jurisdictions. He has represented a diverse range of clients, from ultra-high-net-worth individuals and corporates to oligarchs and general counsel. His experience covers high-value asset recovery, breaches of fiduciary duties, urgent interim relief applications, and intricate disputes within the cryptocurrency landscape. Rhys’ brings with him a particular passion for commercial litigation, complemented by a keen interest in the evolving field of cryptocurrency law.
Rhys holds both an undergraduate degree in law and a Master’s in Law (LLM) from Swansea University, where he also completed his LPC and specialised in advanced drafting.
Outside of work, Rhys is passionate about fitness and is an experienced marathon runner, having completed the Brighton Marathon and Cardiff Half Marathon. He’s also an avid rugby fan.
